Hierarchy of Angels (christian religion)

This one is a bit weird I know. I made researches about it after finishing Supernatural and Good Omens. The Angel hierarchy confused me a little bit so now I have this knowledge in my head.

The hierarchy is divided in three orders of three ranks each. They each have a different function and a different relationship toward God.

Highest order: they directly serve God, they can approche Them and contemplate Them.
- Seraphim
- Cherubim
- Thrones
Middle order: they correspond to the different aids that God gives to humans for their spiritual progressions.
- Dominions
- Virtues
- Powers
Lowest order: represent God in Their actions.
- Principalities
- Archangels
- Angels
